In its glory days, the Miami Marine Stadium was a venue for boat races, concerts, and even Easter sunrise services. After Hurricane Andrew's damage in 1992, it has remained closed, as long as it was open since its inception in 1963.
Despite being vacant for decades, there are continuing efforts to revive the stadium. Looking back at the early years through archived photos showcases the diverse events that took place, from sporting events to religious services and musical performances.
