While areas in North Florida enjoy cheaper gas rates, South Florida experiences higher costs, notably in Naples and Palm Beach County. According to AAA, consumers can find significant price variances even within regions, emphasizing the need for awareness during travel.
"Florida gas prices continue to follow the same pattern of rising and falling within about the same range every week or two," said Mark Jenkins, spokesperson for AAA."
"The average price for a gallon of gas in Florida on Monday, Feb. 10, was $3.15, a 10-cent increase from last week."
