Did Hurricane Milton change gas prices in Florida? See what you're paying at the pump
Briefly

"Conditions are much improved compared to this time last week, when retailers struggled to keep their gas pumps stocked, due to the spike in demand from Hurricane Milton," said AAA spokesperson Mark Jenkins. "Just one week later, gasoline supplies are much more stable around the state and Floridians do not have to look far to find fuel."
AAA says prices across the state are down 2 cents a gallon as of Monday, Oct. 21. In the Miami area, prices have decreased about a penny a gallon - that's 3.7 cents a gallon less than a month ago and 19.4 cents cheaper than a year ago, according to industry monitor GasBuddy.
Several North Florida areas are averaging less than $3 a gallon as the region remains the cheapest to get gas in the state, in some places about 25 cents less per gallon than South Florida. Palm Beach County is among the most expensive areas for gas.
As of Monday, the gas price averages in various Florida regions show a range from $2.88 in Panama City and Pensacola to $3.25 in West Palm Beach/Boca Raton, with the overall state average being $3.08.
