Around 8 p.m., Opa-Locka police officers found the 9-year-old injured after being called to a traffic crash at the intersection of Sesame Street and Northwest 27th Avenue.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on the crash or the blue Hyundai SUV to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 or go to crimestoppers305.com.
