Vince Morales recently discussed his unanimous decision loss to Raul Rosas Jr. at UFC Mexico, acknowledging that while he felt the effects of altitude, Rosas Jr. performed well enough to secure the victory. Morales expressed dissatisfaction with his performance and recognized that he needs to overcome a mental block in close fights. After suffering three consecutive decision losses in the UFC, he is currently uncertain about his career direction but plans to focus on addressing these challenges moving forward.
So about last night, I'm upset... Didn't do enough. I'm OK though, no real damage, nose opened up again. But day in a life.
I think we were both feeling the altitude a little bit or something. I just remember feeling heavy and slow... Could have been better still.
I clearly got some mental block or something on winning a close fight. I'll get to work on that.
I don't know what the UFC's gonna do with me, but I'll get to work on that.
