Percentage of health budget spent on mental health has fallen since pandemic despite 'unprecedented' demand

The percentage of the health budget allocated to mental health in Ireland has fallen from 6% to 5.6% since the start of the pandemic, despite increased demand.

The Government has not fulfilled its pledge in Sláintecare to boost mental health funding to 10% of the health budget, according to Mental Health Reform.
