Pat Divilly: 'The midlife crisis for a lot of people is when they start to explore this stuff. It's a bit like fitness'
Briefly

In his new book 'Shadow Work', following the success of 'Fit Mind', Pat Divilly reflects on personal identity and the duality within all individuals. During yoga teacher training in Thailand, he faced the question "Who am I?" while others gave idealistic responses about love and positivity. Divilly chose to embrace a more complex perspective, acknowledging both the light and dark aspects of his identity. This exploration serves as a central theme in 'Shadow Work', challenging readers to embrace their full selves.
While attending yoga teacher training on Koh Pha Ngan in Thailand, Pat Divilly was asked, in a group session, "Who am I?"; where a variety of deep responses emerged from other trainees.
Divilly, in contrast to the other trainees, presented a more balanced view of himself: "I'm light and I'm dark. I'm good and I'm bad. I'm a nice guy and an asshole."
