Miles Cross, 33, of Wrexham, admitted four counts of assisting or encouraging suicide and was jailed at Mold Crown Court. North Wales Police described him as a predator who targeted vulnerable people at their lowest moments for financial gain. He set up a business on an internet discussion forum, used a pseudonym, accepted £100 payments into his bank account, and posted a lethal chemical to buyers. The chemical was linked to at least two deaths. Thames Valley Police referred a case after tracing the substance via financial enquiries, prompting North Wales Police to investigate distribution and locate purchasers.
