This emergency Burning Man service costs $20, and thousands sign up for it

In light of the unique medical challenges at Burning Man, about 2,600 attendees have opted for a $20 Care Flight membership, which significantly mitigates the costs of emergency air transport.

Care Flight director Vanessa Coyle expressed the expected need for 30 to 40 medical transports this year, highlighting the variety of emergencies that can occur in Black Rock City.
