As a Care Partner Hospital, MMC aligns with the New York State CARE Act's mandate for hospitals to allow patients to designate a caregiver who serves as a compassionate companion for our patients.
MMC staff helps patients designate an appropriate person, such as a family member, friend, neighbor, or paid assistant, to support the patient during and after their hospital stay.
Ken Gibbs, President and CEO of Maimonides Health, expressed pride in successfully implementing the Care Partner Hospital program.
Sameh Samy, Chief Quality Officer at Maimonides, highlighted the hospital's commitment to healthcare excellence and patient-centered care through the Care Partner Hospital designation.
