Hilary Cass Says U.S. Doctors Are Out of Date' on Youth Gender Medicine

After four years of reviewing, Dr. Cass concluded that the evidence supporting the use of puberty-blocking drugs and other hormonal medications in adolescents was remarkably weak.
The N.H.S. will no longer prescribe puberty blockers outside of clinical trials, and testosterone and estrogen prescriptions for young people will be done with extreme caution based on Dr. Cass's recommendations.
