Carol B. Stelling, a 1972 graduate of Feinberg, reminisced about her time at medical school during a recent Alumni Weekend. She highlighted her love for Northwestern and her late husband Michael, whom she met there. After a distinguished career in diagnostic radiology, the Stellings established a scholarship fund for medical students. The Alumni Weekend saw over 480 participants engaging in various social and educational activities, reflecting on their shared experiences and the latest developments at Feinberg, emphasizing the importance of alumni connections and contributions to medical education.
I went to Northwestern undergrad for two years and then right into medical school at the age of almost 21. I'm back for memories and reconnecting.
I loved being at a university and teaching and having residents and fellows, and so I'm very particularly supportive of university medicine.
