You start to see that these are the folks who are being excluded either outright or unconsciously from these clinical trials. And these are people who are all in our families and our friend circles. That disconnect between who participates in the study and the 'real world' is what drove me to this work.
We want to be sure every person has access to cancer clinical trials, and as close to their home as possible. That they can access these cutting-edge treatments without having to uproot their life.
