Closure of two Brooklyn reproductive health centers leaves void for low-income women
Briefly

The closures will leave many underserved women without a trusted resource for prenatal care, STI testing and contraception, affecting their access to essential health services.
Public Health Solutions (PHS), which has served low-income Brooklyn women since the 1970s, is set to close its Fort Greene and Brownsville locations due to financial challenges.

PHS plans to host a public town hall meeting on Jan. 22 to address patient and staff concerns and discuss alternative resources available.
