Jennifer Morrison, known for her role in 'Once Upon a Time,' directed one episode of 'Euphoria' in season one, which aired in 2019. She expressed gratitude for the experience but noted the improbability of returning to direct due to Sam Levinson's authoritative directorial role in seasons two and three. Morrison emphasized Levinson’s brilliance as both a visual and writing visionary, praising him for effectively bringing his creative vision to life. With her early directing opportunity in 'Euphoria,' she reflected positively on her collaborative experience with the team.
Oh gosh, I wish. The reality is Sam Levinson, who's so brilliant, he directs all of them now. He's directed all of them since season two - as he should on this show.
He's such a visual visionary. He's a writing visionary, as well. But he's such a visual visionary that to be able to let him bring his words to life in the way that his brain conceived it so important for the success of the show.
I was lucky enough that I was close to them and knew them and he trusted me with his words and trusted me with his vision in that first season to be able to do it.
I think that went well for the most part, but I also think it's way more efficient for them to just let his brain lead.
