The New York Times rolls out new byline pages
Briefly

The New York Times has introduced expanded byline pages that highlight the ethical guidelines and real-life reporters behind the stories. Over 80% of reporters across major news desks have updated their bios with the new format. The Times hopes to eventually have all journalists, totaling more than 1,700, update their pages. The aim is to build trust by showcasing the human effort behind the news and address the decline in trust in news due to a lack of awareness of how newsrooms operate.
"Our research has shown that when readers disagree with a story or encounter something they dislike, they tend to click on the byline,"
