Student, 16, at Pleasant Hill's Diablo Valley College runs own news channel
Briefly

Anya Gupta, a 16-year-old from Walnut Creek, has channeled her passion for news into creating the nonprofit Key Future News (KFN), aimed at educating and engaging Gen Z audiences. Evolving from its original kids' focus, KFN now emphasizes future industries and societal changes through short, informative videos. Gupta believes in the importance of staying informed and uses the platform to address various issues, including mental health awareness, while encouraging critical thinking about the future. Her ambition extends beyond content creation as she pursues early graduation from high school and dual enrollment at Diablo Valley College.
That's what we're going for now: predictions of future industries, what your future will be like, interviewing professionals on their predictions, things to do and know right now to change the future.
I think it's really important we all stay up to date on things that affect and impact our lives and the lives of people around us.
While there are lots of news channels out there, I make videos for people who might not have heard about the specific news until they see the KFN video.
I decided to name the channel Key Future News in the aspect that KFN news is the key to your future.
