He subsequently maintained he was misrepresented and apologized the following day, stating the remark would be offensive. However, a BBC Radio Humberside interview from six days after the initial report shows Polanski, then working as a hypnotherapist, appearing to defend and elaborate on his theory. During the radio interview, he referenced anecdotal evidence of breast size growth from his work with clients and mentioned a successful project with the journalist, noting he was not charging people for breast enhancement services at that time.
