Hybrid employees at NBCUniversal must work in person at least four days weekly beginning January 5, 2026, with Fridays available for remote work. The shift aligns NBCU with parent Comcast, which implemented a four-day requirement in September 2023. Paramount also announced a January 5 return-to-office mandate requiring five days on-site and offering severance to those who refuse. Some employees note improved efficiency from in-person work and question meeting-room capacity if many return.
