MS NOW ran an AI-enhanced image of Alex Pretti that visibly altered his appearance, including darkening and filling his hair, tanning his skin, whitening and straightening his teeth, and making his nose smaller. The edited image appeared in at least one segment of Deadline: White House hosted by Nicolle Wallace; the network later swapped the thumbnail and added an editor's note acknowledging the prior use of an AI-enhanced picture. MS NOW sources said the image was pulled from the internet and producers were initially unaware it had been enhanced. A host compared the original and edited photos and identified the specific edits.
