A contractor alleges wrongful termination and retaliation by Fox Corporation after reporting repeated sexual assaults by her supervisor. The complaint was filed in Los Angeles County this week. The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, is a Black woman who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community. The complaint alleges gender and race discrimination and harassment resulting in a hostile work environment. The lawsuit follows a complaint by former Fox security director Jared Rasmussen alleging retaliation and wrongful termination after he reported that Doe had been sexually assaulted. The plaintiff began working for Fox around 2020 as a contractor through Constellis and reported to Veantea Burnside, then Director of Special Events and Security; Burnside is also chief executive officer of Valsh.
