""I actually grew to hate the Super Bowl experience, Radio Row, all of that," said Fauria."
""Everybody wants to get in the party. Everybody wants a ticket. The traffic is a nightmare. You can't get reservations anywhere. It was just too much in a few different ways.""
""You can call him Professor Fauria. He loves that.""
Christian Fauria spent four of 13 NFL seasons with the Patriots and won back-to-back championships in 2003-04. He worked in sports media, including a weekday host role at WEEI from May 2014 to August 2024. He now serves as professional-in-residence teaching sports media at Bryant University and brought 10 students to San Francisco's Moscone Center West during Super Bowl week. The students are producing three live radio shows that stream on WJMF.bryant.edu from Radio Row. Fauria finds the Super Bowl media environment chaotic and overcrowded but prioritizes experiential education for his students.
