Busy road in Greenwich set to CLOSE to traffic for six days
Briefly

Red Lion Lane in Greenwich will be closed to vehicles for six days starting October 7, to allow for service disconnection works by Southern Gas Network.
The closure will not affect pedestrians, and vehicle access will be maintained wherever possible, with traffic being diverted via Constitution Rise and Shooters Hill.
The order enacted by the Royal Borough of Greenwich is under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which allows for temporary traffic restrictions.
Works are expected to take just six days, although the closure can last for up to 18 months if further approval is granted.
