Gorilla Comedy+ will launch on May 5, offering over 250 stand-up specials from various comedians. The service partners with Cineverse for technology and distribution. Subscriptions are priced at $9.99 monthly or $99.99 annually. Previously, 800 Pound Gorilla Media acted as a distributor in the comedy industry. The new platform intends to enhance the fan experience and support comedians by providing a dedicated space for their work. Exclusive specials will debut on Gorilla Comedy+ before being distributed to other platforms.
