Starting May 1, 2025, SaaS products hosted on AWS will qualify for discounts via Private Pricing Agreements (PPA). Wiz's engineering has always utilized AWS technology, from Elastic Kubernetes Service to Amazon Neptune for its risk analysis. This commitment allows Wiz to streamline costs and integration, making it a more financially viable option for enterprises even as it prepares for its potential transition under Google Cloud.
According to Wiz, the platform has been built for and on AWS technology since its inception (i.e., since 2021). The company emphasizes that it has been built and expanded on AWS since day one.
Starting May 1, 2025, SaaS products must be fully hosted on AWS to qualify for discounts through Private Pricing Agreements (PPA) when purchased through AWS Marketplace.
