The 4A's has revamped its Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) and Vanguard, aiming to enhance inclusivity and broaden access to applicants in response to industry demands. CEO Marla Kaplowitz emphasized the importance of recognizing varied backgrounds and opportunities. While MAIP has focused on placing people of color in marketing roles since 1973, it now welcomes all applicants for the first time. The recent curricular enhancements intend to ensure equitable opportunities for non-white talent in leadership, reflecting the ongoing evolution of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives within the marketing industry, especially during changing political climates.

The goal is how can we be broader and more inclusive because we've always addressed intersectionality, but through initially that race, ethnicity lens.
