Deutsche Telekom has announced the development of a new AI Phone at MWC 2024, specifically designed to assist users mainly through voice commands. Running on the 'Magenta AI' platform, this device will feature the Perplexity Assistant along with tools from Google Cloud AI, ElevenLabs, and Picsart. The AI Phone aims to perform tasks such as making reservations and booking taxis without app switching, offering a seamless user experience. Additional features from these AI tools will also be integrated into the MeinMagenta app for other smartphones. Launch is expected in the second half of this year.
