The June 2025 core update was announced on June 30th. Initial signs of ranking volatility began to appear by July 2nd. Google indicated that this core update would have a rollout period of three weeks instead of the usual two. Although not all SEOs experienced changes immediately, tracking tools detected early fluctuations. Some SEOs, such as Glenn Gabe, reported observing surges and drops while analyzing visibility for thousands of sites. Users are advised to monitor specific sites with tracking tools to observe any changes related to this core update.
Some of the tools are already picking up on the core update volatility as of this morning. Not all of the tools but some.
Google said this core update will take three weeks to roll out, not the typical two weeks rollout timeframe.
I'm seeing surges and drops beginning based on running the visibility reporting for ~4K sites across verticals this morning.
There are many seeing the volatility from the Saturday update - but that would not be related to this core update.
