Amazon has transformed its annual 'Prime Day' event from a one-day sale starting on July 15, 2015, to a four-day extravaganza set for July 8-11, 2025. This year, the event will introduce 'Today's Daily Drop,' offering deep discounts on popular brands like Samsung and Levi's. This extension comes in response to member feedback, according to Amazon's vice president of worldwide prime, Jamil Ghani, who noted that customers wanted more time to shop the deals. The sale remains exclusive to Prime members, of whom there are over 200 million.
"We're extending it to four days because our members have told us they just need more time to shop the deals," Ghani told Reuters.
Amazon's 'Prime Day' now includes a new feature called 'Today's Daily Drop', allowing members to save on big-name brands.
