TikTok is starting to automatically label AI-generated content that was made on other platforms, attaching an 'AI-generated' label using Content Credentials for transparency and recognition.
Content Credentials technology from C2PA, co-founded by Microsoft and Adobe, is enabling TikTok to recognize and label AI-generated content instantly, with plans to apply it globally in the coming weeks.
TikTok sees this change as a way to ensure AI-generated content is properly labeled and alleviating pressure off creators, complementing existing requirements for creators to disclose AI use.
