Sephora reorganizes US marketing department
""were repurposed to create new marketing positions that offer both mobility to our current workforce and recruitment opportunities for new talent,""
""Sephora operates in a fast-paced marketing and retail environment, continually adapting to meet the moment,""
""We have approached this reorganization purposefully to determine a new structure that will enable our marketing teams to be more effective and efficient, while continuing to build on our recent success and drive future growth.""
Sephora reorganized its U.S. marketing department over the past year to increase efficiency and effectiveness. The reorganization impacted 27 roles but did not reduce overall headcount. Impacted employees were given opportunities to apply for newly created marketing positions. Repurposed roles were designed to provide mobility for current staff and recruitment opportunities for new talent. Zena Srivatsa Arnold became U.S. chief marketing officer in 2023, while Deborah Yeh moved to global chief marketing officer. Sephora also announced a North American store redesign and launched My Sephora Storefront to expand affiliate marketing.
