"The judging panel for this year's Drum Marketing Awards 2012 has begun to form, with marketers from Virgin Atlantic, Santander, Mercedes Benz, Match.com and Wrigleys having all agreed to participate. Entries are currently being accepted for this year's awards, which asks entrants to submit reports for their chosen categories, which this year include Brand of the Year, PR Strategy of the Year and Social Media Strategy."
"Judging entries will be Hamish Rickman, global advertising manager at Virgin Atlantic Airways, Gail Gardner, marketing manager for Santander, David George, marketing director for Passenger Cars at Mercedes-Benz UK, Katie Shepphard, director of relationships and marketing at Match.com, Daniela Campari, UK marketing director for Wrigley and Steve Antoniewicz, managing director of the Recommended Agency Register, with further names to be announced in the coming weeks."
The judging panel for the Drum Marketing Awards 2012 includes marketers from Virgin Atlantic, Santander, Mercedes-Benz, Match.com and Wrigley. Entries require submission of reports for chosen categories such as Brand of the Year, PR Strategy of the Year and Social Media Strategy. Named judges include Hamish Rickman, Gail Gardner, David George, Katie Shepphard, Daniela Campari and Steve Antoniewicz, with additional judges to be announced. David George expects campaigns to demonstrate business impact, innovation, creativity and central use of customer insight. Entries must be submitted via the award website by 20 January 2012, with an early bird rate before 16 December 2011. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in May 2012.
