Wolverhampton Wanderers have allowed Manchester United to finalize the deal for Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha, having triggered his £62.5 million release clause. Initially, United aimed to spread the payment over four to five years but reverted to a two-year payment plan. Cunha, coming off a successful season with 15 Premier League goals, is set to sign a five-year contract with United. Meanwhile, the club is also pursuing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town amid interest from other teams, with preliminary deal terms already discussed.

Cunha, who had his best season at Wolves scoring 15 goals, will sign a five-year deal and become United's first signing of the summer.
