adidas collaborated with Manchester-born streetwear brand Drama Call to create a Manchester United collection inspired by the 1991 Cup Winners' Cup final. The centrepiece is a reimagined long-sleeved white '91 final shirt with red Three Stripes, the adidas Trefoil and the club crest. Drama Call adds a stylised star logo on the sleeve in place of a competition badge, on the collars and cuffs, and as a faint oversized motif across the front. The drop also includes half-zip tracksuits, hoodies, tees, caps and a football featuring adidas heritage, United identity and Drama Call graphics. United players wore the pieces arriving at Old Trafford before the 3-2 win over Burnley.
The centrepiece of the drop is a reimagined version of the '91 final shirt a design forever etched into United history. This updated take arrives in a long-sleeved white base with red Three Stripes, the adidas Trefoil, and the club crest, while Drama Call apply their own twist through a stylised star logo. It features on the sleeve in place of a competition badge, on the collars and cuffs, and as a faint oversized motif across the front.
Beyond the shirt, the collection expands into lifestyle territory. Half-zip tracksuits, hoodies, tees, caps and even a football all carry the same mix of adidas heritage, United identity and Drama Call's bold graphics. United players themselves showed off the new gear as they arrived at Old Trafford before their 3-2 win over Burnley, giving the collection its first public run-out. And while it was Mark Hughes who proved the hero in the 1991 final against Barcelona with both goals in a 2-1 victory, it was Bruno Fernandes who stepped up against Burnley tucking away an injury-time penalty to secure another dramatic United win.
