Marcus Rashford will miss the match against Fulham as he continues to recover from his injury. Aston Villa's manager, Unai Emery, remains optimistic about Rashford's return, stating that the player is working hard to come back. Though he is expected to still be out for weeks, there is a possibility of Rashford participating in the remaining matches against Bournemouth and Tottenham if he regains full fitness soon. Emery hopes to maintain Rashfordâs positive impact at Villa Park and is eager for him to be happy with his role at the club.
âTomorrow is Fulham. We donât want to finish the season - we want to play,â the Spaniard said in response to be asked if Rashford will be a Villa player next season.
Emery revealed he is not giving up hope of having Rashford playing for the club before the season is over. âHe is working to come back as soon as possible,â he said.
Rashford has rejuvenated his career at Villa Park following his loan move from the Red Devils in January.
He is still weeks [away] to be available. Hopefully, he will play with us one or two matches.
