Manchester United working on two transfer targets but "only one will join" - Fabrizio Romano
Briefly

Manchester United are working to sign a goalkeeper before the transfer deadline, targeting Emiliano Martinez and Senne Lammens but planning to sign only one. Martinez offers proven experience after strong performances for Aston Villa and Argentina, though he is nearing 33 and represents a shorter-term option. Lammens presents a younger, promising long-term investment, but his adaptation to a top Premier League club remains uncertain. Martinez’s move may depend on Jadon Sancho being included in talks with Aston Villa, while Lammens negotiations remained active as the deadline approached. Andre Onana’s possible exit increases urgency.
For now, it seems to be an open situation, with Man Utd trying to keep both deals alive, with Martinez perhaps the trickier deal to get done due to him being a key player for a Premier League rival. Still, Romano has also suggested that the Martinez deal could happen if Jadon Sancho ends up making the move to Villa Park.
United clearly need an upgrade on Andre Onana, who could leave for Galatasaray today, and one imagines fans would be happy with either one of Martinez or Lammens.
