Man Utd agree deal with Sweden defender Lundkvist - Soccer News
"I am really excited to be here; Manchester United is a club with an amazing history,"
"You can feel how much they have grown in the last few years, competing in one of the strongest leagues in the world and performing in the Champions League. Speaking with Marc [Skinner] and the coaches confirmed all the great things I have heard about the culture of the team here. I cannot wait to get started and help the group to achieve more success."

Hanna Lundkvist will join Manchester United on January 1 on a three-and-a-half-year contract after leaving San Diego Wave last week. The Sweden right-back played 56 times across two seasons for San Diego in the NWSL, scoring three league goals. She previously represented AIK, Hammarby and Atletico Madrid, accumulating 179 club appearances in total. Lundkvist has earned 17 caps for Sweden and featured in all three of their matches at Euro 2025 in July. Manchester United have made her their first signing of the January window as Marc Skinner looks to strengthen a squad currently fourth in the WSL.
