"Since Fernandes' arrival in the Premier League six years ago, no player has created more chances than him - and by some distance. He has created 670 chances since January 2020, 238 more than Kevin de Bruyne who is next on the list. Nobody has made more assists since Fernandes' Premier League debut (71) and only five players have scored more than his 70 league goals. When combining Premier League goals and assists, only Mohamed Salah (193) betters Fernandes' 141 in that time."
Bruno Fernandes provided his 20th Premier League assist of the season with a low cross for Bryan Mbeumo in Manchester United’s win over Nottingham Forest. The assist came in the 77th minute and was celebrated by all 11 United players, including goalkeeper Senne Lammens running to hug Fernandes. With one league match remaining against Brighton, Fernandes could still set the outright record. Fernandes has created 132 chances, the most in the Premier League and far ahead of the next-best player. He also won the Football Writers’ Association men’s Footballer of the Year award. Since joining the league, he has created 670 chances, made 71 Premier League assists, and ranks among the top for combined goals and assists.
