Harry Maguire was left out of the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia due to form and fitness issues, as stated by coach Thomas Tuchel. Although it was initially thought Maguire was sidelined due to a calf injury, Tuchel highlighted that he is currently behind other centre-backs like Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi. Tuchel emphasized the importance of player fitness in squad selection and the decision-making process involved in naming the squad.
Harry knows that it's not so easy for him at the club at the moment. He plays in a back three on top of it but he's a top professional.
