Brentford is negotiating firmly for star forward Bryan Mbeumo, who wishes to transfer to Manchester United. Mbeumo, a 25-year-old with a successful last season, has a £60 million price tag. Although United appears poised to secure him despite lacking European football, Brentford has not yet been contacted about any deal. Premier League competitors like Newcastle, Arsenal, and Tottenham have also shown interest, yet the transfer situation remains tense due to public frustrations expressed by Brentford regarding the negotiations.
Brentford are reportedly annoyed with how things have played out in public and one source told The Telegraph it would "all look a bit silly" for United if a deal was not reached now.
Despite not offering any European football next season, United has seemingly won the race for signature with Brentford setting a £60 million price tag for Mbeumo.
