Casemiro will leave Manchester United at the end of the season following the expiry of his contract. He joined from Real Madrid in 2022 for a fee of £70 million and made 146 appearances, scoring 21 goals. The club thanked him as "a serial winner" and expressed hope to finish his time at Old Trafford on a high. Casemiro said he will carry Manchester United with him throughout his life and pledged to create more memories in the remaining four months. He won five Champions League titles with Real Madrid and scored in United's 2023 League Cup final win.
