Benjamin Sesko has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury during a 2-2 draw at Tottenham on November 8. The 22-year-old Slovenia forward has missed four Premier League matches and has scored twice in 11 appearances since his £74m move from RB Leipzig. His agent reports that rehab is progressing well and that Sesko is eager and impatient to return, though timing will be decided by the medical team and coach. Ruben Amorim has given the striker full backing. United could also lose other forwards to upcoming Africa Cup of Nations duty.
