Real Madrid told they can close roof to raise noise against Manchester City
Briefly

Real Madrid have received permission from Uefa to close the Santiago Bernabeu's roof for their Champions League match against Manchester City to create a more vocal atmosphere. This follows a similar decision made for their last-16 second leg match against RB Leipzig, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu with an 85,000 capacity will host the quarter-final between Real Madrid and Manchester City. This will be the fourth encounter between the two teams at the stadium under the management of Pep Guardiola.
Pep Guardiola, the former Barcelona player and manager, expressed the significance of matches at the Santiago Bernabeu, acknowledging the special atmosphere created in both the roles of player and coach: 'I've been here many times as a player and a coach. It's always special.'
