Richard Masters confirmed there are no plans for Premier League fixtures to be played outside of England. Despite previous consideration of playing a '39th game' abroad, Masters emphasized that the necessity for such a move has diminished. Additionally, he provided an update on Manchester City's multiple charges for alleged financial rule breaches, indicating ongoing scrutiny of the club's actions.
"I don't think it changes the Premier League's view on this at all, we don't have any plans to play matches abroad," Masters said.
"The Premier League flirted with this over a decade ago... the necessity that was driving that concept has dissipated."
