Manchester City have signed Ghana international Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth for about 65m after meeting his release clause. City will pay 62.5m across 24 monthly instalments plus bonuses. Semenyo has agreed a contract until 2031 and will wear the number 42 shirt previously worn by Yaya Touré, who won three Premier League titles in eight years at the club. The Chelsea-born winger is 26 and scored a stoppage-time winner for Bournemouth in a 3-2 victory against Tottenham before leaving. The transfer represents a record sale for Bournemouth.
