Sydney Lohmann, a 25-year-old German midfielder, has signed a three-year contract with Manchester City after leaving Bayern Munich. Currently participating in Euro 2025, Lohmann looks forward to personal growth through this international experience. She expressed a strong desire to win titles with Manchester City and acknowledged the team's need to improve following a challenging previous season. This transfer marks her move to the Women's Super League after eight seasons in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Lohmann is the third signing of the season for Manchester City.
