Kevin De Bruyne expressed a relaxed demeanor regarding his future at Manchester City, emphasizing his focus on returning to the pitch rather than contract discussions.
In a press conference, De Bruyne stated, "Honestly, I don't know... I had a conversation already in the summer but then obviously I had the injury. So really I was not in the right frame of mind to speak about that."
He further elaborated, "I just want to play football and I'm not really worried; I've put basically everything to the side. I was hoping to be out for a couple of days and it ended up being eight or nine weeks."
Pep Guardiola also indicated uncertainty about De Bruyne's future, remarking that he believes there is still plenty left in the tank for De Bruyne.
