Burnley has secured the permanent signing of Jacob Bruun Larsen from Stuttgart on a four-year contract. Bruun Larsen previously played for Burnley on loan during the 2023-24 season, making 36 appearances and scoring seven goals. Last season with Stuttgart, he contributed to their successful DFB-Pokal campaign, which allowed them to qualify for the Europa League. This signing marks Burnley's 10th addition during the summer transfer window as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season, enhancing their options in the attacking lineup.
"I'm so happy to be back, to be honest. It's a good feeling," Bruun Larsen told Burnley's official website.
"It was a very easy decision for me. Once I knew the club were interested, I just knew that I was ready to come back and sign here permanently.
Bruun Larsen made 36 appearances for Burnley across all competitions in his previous stint, scoring seven goals, six of which came in the top flight.
