The Yankees announced this afternoon that infielder Jordan Groshans has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to the club's Triple-A roster.
Given that lack of power and his move to the infield corners last year, the Marlins decided to move on from Groshans last month upon acquiring infielder Jonah Bride in a cash deal with the A's.
