The Yankees announced this afternoon that they've claimed infielder Jordan Groshans off waivers from the Marlins.
Groshans got to the big leagues not long after that trade. He appeared in 17 MLB contests, hitting .262/.308/.311 with one home run through his first 65 plate appearances. Miami optioned him back to Triple-A to open the 2023 campaign.
